How we Started

Sowing Today, Feeding Tomorrow

From a vision to a movement for sustainable agriculture and empowerment.
Sustaina Harvest began with a simple but powerful belief: that agriculture in Africa could do more than feed, it could transform. It could lift families out of poverty, equip the underserved with real skills, and become a tool for restoring dignity and hope.
The journey began in Adjobue, Eastern Region of Ghana, where fertile lands lay underutilized and young people struggled to find decent work. Our founder, Asamoah Oppong Zadok, a sustainable agriculture researcher and advocate, saw the gap between abundant natural resources and the socio-economic realities of the people. He envisioned a solution that would bridge that divide through practical, inclusive, and sustainable farming.
As an agribusiness firmly rooted in technology and its benefits, we’re actively laying the groundwork for a scalable, future-ready ecosystem. Here’s what we’re working toward:
We are in the early stages, but we are building with intention, planting seeds of change that we believe will bloom into a continent-wide movement for climate-smart, inclusive, and empowering agriculture.

Vision

To become the most impactful agro-social enterprise in Africa, transforming agriculture into a powerful tool for community empowerment, sustainable development, and food security.

mission

To sustainably feed African communities while empowering marginalized groups through education, innovation, and inclusive agricultural entrepreneurship.

Sustaina Harvest is not just about growing food. It’s about growing futures.

Our Core Values

At Sustaina Harvest, our work is guided by values that go beyond agriculture. We are building a movement rooted in purpose, powered by people, and driven by impact. These values shape our culture, decisions, and the future we’re cultivating.
Sustainability

We are committed to practices that protect the environment, enrich the soil, and conserve natural resources. Every action we take is designed with the next generation in mind, ensuring that our farming systems are not only productive but regenerative.

We don’t just grow; we grow responsibly.

Inclusion

We believe everyone deserves a seat at the table, especially those historically excluded. From women and youth to individuals with disabilities, we prioritize equity in access, training, and opportunity. Diversity is not a checkbox; it’s our foundation.

Empowering the marginalized is not charity, it’s strategy.

Innovation

We embrace new thinking, smart technology, and creative problem-solving. By blending indigenous knowledge with digital tools and agritech solutions, we reimagine what agriculture can look like in Africa: adaptive, modern, and scalable.

We cultivate the land and ideas.

Education

Knowledge is power. Our mission to build capacity through training ensures that individuals are not just laborers but leaders, thinkers, and entrepreneurs. We teach skills that last beyond a season and build futures that endure.

Every farm is a classroom. Every farmer is a learner.

Integrity

We operate with transparency, accountability, and honesty in our partnerships, our programs, and our promises. Impact for us is not just measured in numbers, but in trust.

We grow trust before profit.

Community-Centered Impact

Our work is rooted in real communities. We listen, we co-create, and we act with those we serve. Every farm, training, or partnership is designed to meet real needs, create real change, and leave no one behind.

We don’t plant in isolation; we plant with purpose.

What Drives Us

Our story is still being written, with every new trainee, every new partnership, and every community we serve. But what hasn’t changed is our heartbeat: “to use agriculture as a force for empowerment, sustainability, and dignity”.
We’re here not just to produce crops but to produce leaders, stewards, and changemakers in agriculture.
